Life coaching is about acting on our dreams and desires.
Life coaching is strength-based. We identify our skills and those activities that bring us the most satisfaction. We chose our values. It’s up to us.
"It’s time to move forward," you say. I ask, “Now what? What do you want next?”
It continues with getting very, very clear on what that our desires are. In coaching we envision life as we want it to be.
Sometimes renewed focus is all that’s needed. With a clear vision we move on.
Sometimes we need to expand our thinking, our sense of what’s possible, and push ourselves to try things in an entirely different way in order to achieve a vision. We see ourselves in business, for example. We decide we need to apprentice. We decide we need to take a course. We decide we need to talk with someone who has walked that path before. We discover resources we never knew. We make new friends. Our vision shifts, turns and becomes a little closer. We begin.
There will be hurdles along the way. In coaching we respond to them. We stretch and grow our understanding of our “response-abilities.”
In coaching we explore life purpose. A sense of purpose can set our lives on fire or steady them into a calm, confident, and joyful trek.
We don’t control everything in life; there are no guarantees. In coaching we give it our best shot.
