As a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) I agree to abide by its Code of Ethics.

The ICF Definition of Coaching:

Professional Coaching is an ongoing professional relationship that helps people produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses or organizations. Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life.

In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of conversation, while the coach listens and contributes observations and questions. This interaction creates clarity and moves the client into action. Coaching accelerates the client's progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where clients are now and what they are willing to do to get where they want to be in the future. ICF member coaches and ICF credentialed coaches recognize that results are a matter of the client's intentions, choices and actions, supported by the coach's efforts and application of the coaching process.

HOW DOES COACHING WORK?

"The minute you begin to do what you want to do, it's really a different kind of life." Buckminster Fuller, Designer and Architect

Coaching provides a place and time that is all about you - your thoughts, dreams and possibilities.

Coaching conversations clarify your strengths, passions and circumstances--making way for discovering new possibilities.

Coaching is about, "Now what? What can I do next? How can I move forward in the direction of my dreams?"

Coach and client collaborate to apply what you know about yourself to the world--your community, workplace or career, and relationships.

In coaching you discover how you might be more effective, successful, and satisfied in the roles you play in each part of your world.

A coach is a companion who is always inviting you toward action.

Coaching sessions remind you to finish what you start and to keep your commitments to yourself and others.

Coaching is a place where small and large steps are appreciated, acknowledged and celebrated.
