In this decade of my own life I am exploring a personal passion that I put on hold years ago when I switched college majors from journalism to psychology. I now set aside time every day to journal and almost every day I write, working on personal essays as well in other creative genres.
Since I started writing regularly in the last eight years I have discovered joy in "living twice:" once in experience and again when I create a rendering of my experience in words!
While I find personal satisfaction in writing, I have also been fortunate in having some of my work published. Holding onto a House Full of Memories, appeared in a November, 2007 issue the Washington Post; December 1, 2008, Vintage Doll Play: Little Girl Comes Out to Play.
